Today's devotional starts very nicely with the idea of the purpose of life. God does have a purpose for my life and a high and noble purpose it is too.
The question put for today is "How aware am I of others". A beautiful part of scripture describes what is love.. for
"Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another" 1 John 4:11
Loving others should be high on my priority list.
Why is it that being an expert in the Bible is not enough to fulfil one's life purpose. I always thought that having more Bible knowledge means power. But no. It's the heart that matters and its about helping others.
Only when we are suffering or in want then we will feel for others.
I thank God for giving me my problems because with them I am able to understand those who have even bigger problems.

Dear Lord, thank you for this media where I can feature my thoughts. I would never have been able to do such a thing ten years back. Thank you God for your loving hand in my life. Lord please bless those who I love. Help me to love those who dont seem to deserve love. Like some of my own blood relatives. If people are your priority, make me invest in them, not invest in things. Make me more aware. Of those who need love. When I give love, that's when I feel the most loved, by you. Thank you God! Amen
